Why is it important with education?
If you have played hockey for 20 years, like me, education feels like a must if you want to enter working life in a decent way. I wanted to do it directly after my hockey career, in order not to get used to doing nothing, which I believe is very dangerous.

Why did you choose to participate in the MBA program?
This program seemed good and included the things I was looking for. Both the economics and the management components are important. Also, the timing was great as I wanted to get started directly.

What is your impression of the early phases of the course?
My impression so far is really good. It is a serious program and the lecturers are really good. My experiences so far have only been positive. We are six participants with similar backgrounds yet with different sport focus, which is also good, as it allows for easy discussions and mutual understanding within the group.

Are there any differences to what you had expected?
No, not really. I am rather a bit surprised over how motivated I am. When I went to school as a teenager I had a lot of distractions but here it is different. With the prevailing quality, you really get motivated.

What is your recommendation to a person deciding whether or not to pursue an education?
I have actually got this question before, and I can only recommend! Pursue this education if you get the opportunity.
