Impact
The Center for Security and Resilience drives impact through the SSE FREE Collaborative Wheel. The wheel is a holistic 360° model where we integrate all aspects of SSE as an institution and, together with our partners, co-create individual, organizational, and societal impact.
How we drive impact
Define strategic challenges
- What are the strategic challenges facing your organization?
- How are they shared with others?
- What are the bottlenecks and chokepoints in addressing them today?
Here we work with structured Preparedness Dialogues, Advisory Boards, and Roundtable Dinners to clarify the strategic challenges facing us.
Establish strong relationships
- We create a neutral arena for interacting with key stakeholders.
- Curating the right people in the right rooms.
- Enabling strategic communication to multiple stakeholders.
Here we work with multiple strategic forums, all with their own purpose and design. We have Congresses (300+ participants), Summits (80+ participants), Dialogue Sessions (20+ participants), Small-Group Dinners (10+ participants), Strategic Communications, and Advisory Boards.
Create operating models
- We provide research and fact-based insights into how to develop your operational model.
We do this through interdisciplinary research involving four SSE departments, as well as Campus Totalförsvar and Cybercampus Sverige.
Develop critical capabilities
- We ensure that critical knowledge and skills are transmitted throughout your organization, providing the necessary tools to address your strategic challenges.
This is done through our degree programs: Nordic Defense MBA, MSc in Public Policy, as well as our Executive Education offerings.
Expand operational capacity
- We provide your organization with best practices, knowledge sharing, and information to act upon your strategic challenges.
Here we organize and facilitate Academic Insights seminars, student projects, student fairs, relationships with SSE Business Lab, participation in partners’ innovation activities, and 12-week Lab Sprints.
