MBALive® brings the real world to the program and the program to the real world.
The MBALive® pedagogy aims at developing an understanding of the complexity and dynamics of organizations. In this part of the program you integrate and apply theoretical management concepts and frameworks acquired during the MBA courses to live management issues in real companies.
You learn together with other participants, SSE faculty and case sponsors, and develop feasible recommendations for action and drive real, measureable change.
The MBALive® takes different forms, corresponding to the learning philosophy of the program. It encourages you to think, do, watch and feel in different ways.

The work has been hands-on with ongoing qualitative and quantitative analysis of our firm – many from our organization has participated – and it has also given us new theoretical frameworks for our strategic thinking. The timing was excellent and we will have great use for the recommendations.
The ChangeLive project runs for an extended period. You work in pairs, either in your own organization or an organization of your choice to pursue strategic change. The change should be of measurable value, constitute a real improvement in the organization and be a change that would otherwise have required extensive use of internal or external resources.
LeadershipLive represents and enhances your personal leadership development during the program through the acquisition of theoretical knowledge, analytical and practical skills, and the creation of an individual leadership inventory, including self-awareness, ambitions and challenges. The LeadershipLive stream builds on the four pedagogical pillars of the program and helps participants develop a holistic approach to leadership. Coaching and reflection are two central components of LeadershipLive.
The aim of the SustainabilityLive program component is to expose participants to an understanding of responsibility and sustainability in business, as well as to reflect on how these issues impact business strategies and value creation. Understanding the challenges and opportunities, along with the tradeoffs and dilemmas, are an integral part of leading businesses and organizations. Therefore it is imperative that sustainability is connected to other business topics, such as strategy, operations, accounting, finance or marketing. Consequently, we have chosen to integrate sustainability across the curriculum.
