My main area of interest is judgement and decision-making. People make decisions in ways that sometimes counter to their best-interest or preferences. I am interested in how we can design environments that nudge them to better decisions. I am also interested in the intersection of human decision-making and algorithms. Algorithms are taking an increasingly active part of our daily decision-making. From the products we buy to the entertainment we consume. I study how people respond to advice from algorithms and what makes them more prone to adopt the algorithm's advice.
