Stephen Kotkin to discuss the role of middle powers in a changing world order

What role can middle powers play in an international order increasingly shaped by competition between major powers? On June 10, the Ax:son Johnson Institute for Statecraft and Diplomacy together with the Center for Statecraft and Strategic Communication will host historian and geopolitical analyst Stephen Kotkin for a lunch seminar in Stockholm.

Stephen Kotkin, one of the world's leading historians and commentators on international affairs, will share his perspectives on how middle powers can navigate today's evolving geopolitical landscape.

The seminar will begin with introductory remarks and continue as an interactive seminar moderated by Dr. Carl Ritter. Participants will have the opportunity to engage directly with Kotkin and contribute to the conversation.

The event is organized by the Ax:son Johnson Institute for Statecraft and Diplomacy together with the Center for Statecraft and Strategic Communication (CSSC) at the Stockholm School of Economics.
