Bright Green Summit Trade & Investment Panel

In connection with the annual Bright Green Summit, Misum and the American Chamber of Commerce will co-host the Bright Green Summit Trade & Investment panel at the Stockholm School of Economics.

The annual Bright Green Summit hosted by the American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) explores opportunities for coordination and cooperation across industries, governments, and academia to provide the education, policies, products and services necessary to combat climate change, specifically centering on the upcoming COP28 in Dubai.

This year's summit is comprised of a series of moderated topical panel discussions which will be at various universities throughout Stockholm prior to COP. The focus of the Trade & Investment panel discussion will provide both a business and policy perspective on how companies are allocating budgets to initiatives that help them meet their sustainability goals - and reporting requirements. Part of the discussion will also provide a look at the investment landscape in terms of funds that are offered, how the markets are moving - either up, down or sideways as investors identity opportunities that are not just profitable, but positively impactful.

The Trade & Investment Panel will be moderated by Misum Platform Director, Associate Professor Torkel Strömsten with panel participants:

  • Mathias Wikström, CEO & Founder, Doconomy
  • Pernilla Liljeson, Export and Investment Promotion, Ministry of Foreign Affairs
  • Eric Savola, Nordic Banking Head and Country Officer for Sweden, Citi
  • Marianne Drain, Senior Commercial Officer, US Embassy Stockholm
