Christer Karlsson

Professor Emeritus - Department of Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Technology

Christer Karlsson is Professor Emeritus in Industrial Production at the Stockholm School of Economics.

Christer Karlsson graduated as Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 1970 at Chalmers University of Technology and as PhD in Industrial Management in 1975 at the same university. He was a Professor of Industrial Production with a special focus on Production strategy and Innovation processes at the Stockholm School of Economics between 1994 and 2005. Since 2004, he has been active as a Professor at Copenhagen Business School.

Karlsson was elected to the Royal Academy of Engineering Sciences (IVA) in 1993 and in 2015 was awarded the Gustaf Dalén Medal by the Chalmers Alumni Association.
