Visioning by art: a research vernissage on the art of creating meaning - 17 Nov 2025
In a world saturated with information, the true challenge for leaders is to create direction. How can we cut through the noise, craft a meaningful vision, and step into it together?
Art can come to our rescue as one of the most powerful carriers of meaning-making. Art helps us resonate with the subtle vibrations of the outer and inner world. It offers us a collective invitation to listen, to imagine, to narrate, to connect, to move.
On November 17, we hosted a research vernissage on "Visioning by Art" where we explored how in front of art we can expand our capacity to make sense and transform together.
Inspired by Visual Thinking Strategies, developed by art curator Dabney Hailey and taught at Harvard Medical School and MIT Sloan, the workshop adapted this approach by leveraging the collection of the SSE Art Initiative. It was a unique opportunity for the participants to take part in the experimental frontier of our research on art and innovation.
