Provoking, inspiring, and infusing: A tour of SSE art and spaces - 16 May 2023
Our workplace and the objects that inhabit it are crucial for how we experience work, our well-being, and our identification with the organization. This special tour immersed our participants in the environment of the Stockholm School of Economics, and showcased its prominent art collection and ad-hoc designed spaces. As we were strolling through the building, we learned how spaces and objects provoke reflection, inspire actions, and overall infuse our everyday tasks and creative practices.
The tour of SSE art and spaces was led by Giada Baldessarelli, Assistant Professor at the House of Innovation. In her research, Giada studies the role of (physical and digital) materiality in day-to-day organizational processes and the development of creativity. In particular, she is interested in how sensory-driven reactions influence individual and collaborative work to develop design outputs.
The event was co-hosted by Tinni Ernsjöö Rappe and the SSE Art Initiative that aims at creating a stimulating and engaging environment that integrates art into the academic world, fostering creativity and critical thinking.
The art tour concluded with a networking mingle.
