Initiate is the inspirational program at SSE Business Lab which aims to encourage current students to build their entrepreneurial skill set.

Initiate is a garage program, which serves as an innovation factory for those who are interested in starting a venture. It is run in collaboration with KI Innovations and includes students from organizations like Excitera, istart, Idélab, Drivhuset, Gymnastik- och Idrottshögskolan among others.

For current students of collaborating universities, Entrepreneurship Society organizes the inspiration event series Initiate and the yearly hackathon Hackin’.


Hackin' is a full-day hackathon organized by SSE Business Lab together with Entrepreneurship Society (SASSE) and I Innovations for students of collaborating universities, to connect students who want to start their own company within 12 hours.

Great startups are built with diversity and that is why our vision with Hackin' is to connect driven and curious students from multiple disciplines and backgrounds to lay the grounds for great teams. Get involved with the Entrepreneurship Society

Initiate workshops

Initiate at the Entrepreneurship Society is a workshop series that aims to provide the participants with the necessary tools to run an efficient startup. The Initiate workshops are run during lunch or in the evening to allow both students and professionals to participate.

Entrepreneurial Spring Week

Entrepreneurial Spring Week gives SSE students the opportunity of a week-long internship at a startup in Stockholm. 


Guldräven is the culmination of the entrepreneurial year at Stockholm School of Economics. an entire day filled with a prestigious pitch competition, an entrepreneurial fair filled with start-ups, and an exciting evening event where the winners of the competition are announced.
