SSE Alumni Scholarship for Bachelor studies (BSc)

SSE Alumni want to contribute to the education of strong students with a diverse and underrepresented background. Therefore, they will be providing seven Swedish Bachelor students with a scholarship of SEK 7,500 per month each for three years. The purpose is to cover living expenses for three years conditional upon satisfactory performance as determined by SSE.

The scholarship recipients will begin their studies in the Autumn of 2025 and will graduate in 2028. During the study period, the students must take a minimum of 22,5 ECTS credits per semester (75 % study pace). If the student takes a study break, the scholarship is paused until the student is enrolled again. If the break is longer than one year, the right to the scholarship expires. The student must be enrolled at least one year before taking a study break, or the scholarship will be rescinded.

Eligibility criteria

The scholarship candidates shall be considered by SSE to have the potential to perform well in their respective educational programs.

To qualify for the scholarship, which will be awarded on a competitive basis and is subject to successful admission to SSE, the students must meet at least one of the following requirements:

  1. Have parents without an academic degree
  2. Have at least one parent born outside of Sweden
  3. Have grown up in an area of Sweden outside of the Stockholm, Gothenburg and Malmö metropolitan areas
  4. Come from an underrepresented socioeconomic background
