Hagströmer, William

William Hagströmer works at External Relations and focuses on executive communications and leading CIVICA’s communications efforts. CIVICA is a European alliance of top social science universities working together to drive innovation in education, research, and civic engagement across borders.

William was previously the Communications Manager of SSE Business Lab, the startup incubator of the Stockholm School of Economics. His expertise in strategic storytelling and media relations brought both national and international attention to SSE Business Lab and its startups, earning the incubator a top ten ranking from the Financial Times.

Before joining SSE Business Lab, William conducted research in innovation engineering at Lund University and served as Head of Communications at Lunicore, LU Innovation’s consultancy arm. He holds a BA in Literature and an MSc in Sociology from Lund University, as well as a degree in Art Direction from Forsbergs School of Design.
