The Next Step in Offline Retail at Swedish Match

Swedish Match’s Retail Club had a workshop with a focus on offline retailing and reaching a new customer target group.

Cecilia Källbäck, Head of Stores, and Eleni Tjernberg, Retail Operations Manager, walked us through Swedish Match’s different store concepts and presented a case focusing on the nicotine pouch-line ZYN. The students were tasked with developing solutions on how to make the products more attractive to a younger customer group in an offline retail settning.
The suggestions ranged from a pop-up store with a bar combined, and ZYN parties when releasing new flavours, to separating ZYN into an independent brand.
