Jonathan Ilicki from Platform24 Healthcare AB receives this year’s SSE MBA scholarship
“The purpose of the SSE MBA scholarship is to promote further education and raise the skill level among the next generation of leaders,” says Karin Wiström, Director SSE MBA at the Stockholm School of Economics.
The 2021 SSE MBA scholarship goes to Jonathan Ilicki, Head of Medical Innovation and Development at Platform24 Healthcare AB, with the following motivation:
“Jonathan is a humble, highly intelligent and innovative person with a very strong drive, curiosity and a genuine interest in others wellbeing. He has a leading position at Platform24 and is considered one of the most important managers there, with a huge potential to scale up and drive a positive impact in the health care sector around the world. Jonathan is also a highly appreciated speaker, columnist and renowned myth buster at medical conferences. He has a unique academic background with a Medical Degree from Karolinska Institutet, a MSc in General Management from the Stockholm School of Economics and soon a MA in Evidence-basing from the University of Gothenburg. Together with the MBA degree from SSE he will have a solid foundation for future success.
With the new perspectives, insights and knowledge that Jonathan will gain from the SSE MBA program he has the potential to successfully take on more senior leadership roles in the future and make a strong impact. With his experience, background and potential, Jonathan is a highly worthy recipient of the SSE MBA scholarship 2021.”
“Thanks to modern healthcare we're living longer, but as a result we are placing an ever-increasing strain on our health services. Today's healthcare system isn't sustainable unless we find smarter ways to make healthcare more efficient. To address this challenge I work with digital systems that automate much of what clinicians do, and enable patients to manage their own health. I believe that the Executive MBA will give me tools to further accelerate the digitalization of healthcare, and ensure we have a sustainable healthcare solution for the future.”, says Jonathan Ilicki.
The jury has consisted of Carl Johan Bonnier, Chairman Albert Bonnier AB; Jonas Jonsson, Editor in Chief, Dagens Industri; Mattias Säker, Co-founder Keystone Education Group; Frida Korneliusson, CEO AB SLL Internfinans and alumna of the Executive MBA program, and Karin Wiström, Director SSE MBA, Stockholm School of Economics.
