The SSE MBA Executive Format is launching a new curriculum

The SSE MBA Executive Format is launching a new curriculum, designed to meet current and future requirements for management in international organizations. In our endeavor to always stay relevant and up to date, we continuously evaluate and update the curriculum of our degree programs. Now we are making a major re-design for our Executive MBA, the SSE MBA Executive Format.

“The new curriculum is designed for the leader of tomorrow. The one, who wants to be ahead of the curve of the everchanging global economy”, says Angelika Lindstrand, SSE MBA Program Director.

One new feature is the possibility to personalize your SSE MBA experience with a number of elective courses given at SSE’s different campuses in Stockholm, Latvia and Russia, and at our partner schools in the Global Network for Advanced Management (GNAM). Electives in Entrepreneurship, Finance, Digital Transformation, Branding, Management, Negotiation, Social Innovation, Innovative China and Understanding Emergent Markets are some examples.

The program stands on a general management foundation and will provide theories, models, tools and insights in areas covering the financial foundation of the organization, how to create value for stakeholders and markets and how to stay current in fast paced global industries. The participants will also gain in depth knowledge how to lead business in both a sustainable and innovative way.

The SSE MBA is a degree program, given part-time, with ten full campus weeks held over 18 months with digital content and studies in between. It’s designed for working professionals with a passion for business development and an aim to lead in international organizations.

Our Executive MBA classes are very diverse. Our participants, with an average age of 39, work in many different industries, positions and any size of organization, half have a non-Swedish background and around 40% are women.

The program starts on December 6, 2021, and application deadlines are May 15 and September 15.
