Gökçe Günaydın has been awarded the SSE MBA Carl Silfvén scholarship for 2021. The scholarship is presented to the next generation of leaders to promote the competitiveness of Swedish-based business in an international market.

Gökçe Günaydın is the Global Medical and Scientific Communications Manager Immunology at Swedish Orphan Biovitrum AB, with a PhD in Medical Science.

“As the recipient of the SSE MBA Carl Silfvén Scholarship, I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to the Carl Silfvén Foundation for supporting me to transform my career with an MBA at the Stockholm School of Economics,” she says, and continues:

“I aspire to stay curious and relevant, and create value, by making or driving distinctive, lasting and substantial improvements or disruptions in healthcare through innovations in science and technology. The SSE MBA program will enable me to acquire soft and hard skills, as well as insights and learnings from the case studies and extended SSE network. This unique stimulating experience will hopefully inspire me to initiate and drive multidisciplinary collaborations across various industries, and influence future entrepreneurs and leaders nationally and internationally.”

“We are convinced that Gökçe Günaydın will contribute to the program, bring best practices and state-of-the-art management knowledge back into her business and become a leader with a strategic and holistic understanding of management, working more efficiently in her organization,” says Karin Wiström, Director SSE MBA, Stockholm School of Economics. “We are very proud that the Carl Silfvén Foundation offers this scholarship.”

The SSE MBA Carl Silfvén scholarship is funded by the Carl Silfvén Foundation, based on the will of Carl Silfvén from 1914.  The scholarship covers the full tuition fee of SEK 495,000 for the SSE MBA Executive Format program.
