Lunch seminar with policymakers on wellbeing growth (in Swedish)
Across Sweden and much of the Western world, we are currently seeing two concerning trends. At the same time as economic growth and productivity development have slowed over recent decades, mental health challenges, stress-related illness and social fragmentation are increasing. Particularly worrying is the development among younger generations.
This presents both an urgent need and a unique opportunity to rethink societal development and the role wellbeing should play in economic and political decision-making. Could the 2026 election become the starting point for a new Swedish societal model — one where wellbeing is given greater importance in shaping long-term prosperity, resilience and societal progress?
We are pleased to invite you to our seminar on June 17, featuring Professor Micael Dahlen together with representatives from the Swedish Parliament for a conversation on wellbeing, productivity and the future of societal development.
The seminar is arranged by the Center for Wellbeing, Welfare and Happiness and is open to everyone.
When: Wednesday, June 17 | 12:00–13:00
Where: The Aula, Stockholm School of Economics, Sveavägen 65
Lunch will be served from 11:30.
Please register before June 12 as places are limited
