Happy Hour Research Seminar: Marc Schulz on the Science of the Good Life
We are pleased to invite you to our upcoming Happy Hour Research Seminar featuring Dr. Marc Schulz and the talk “The Good Life: Lessons for Living from the World’s Longest Study of Well-Being.”
In this seminar, Dr. Schulz will present findings from the Harvard Study of Adult Development, an 88-year longitudinal study that has followed individuals across the lifespan to better understand what shapes human flourishing. The study has tracked two generations of participants from more than 700 families, offering rare insights into how relationships, health, and life experiences influence long-term wellbeing.
Drawing on his bestselling book The Good Life: Lessons from the World’s Longest Scientific Study of Happiness, Dr. Schulz will discuss why strong relationships are one of the most important foundations of a good life and share practical insights into how individuals can improve their relationship health and overall happiness.
Dr. Marc Schulz is Associate Director of the Harvard Study of Adult Development and Professor of Psychology at Bryn Mawr College, where he also directs the Data Science Program. Together with Robert Waldinger, he is the co-author of the New York Times bestselling book The Good Life, which has been translated into more than 45 languages.
The seminar is arranged by the Center for Wellbeing, Welfare and Happiness and is open to everyone.
