StratCom Lunch with Former Foreign Minister Tobias Billström

We were very pleased to host Sweden’s former Foreign Minister Tobias Billström at the Center’s StratCom Lunch on October 13. He delivered several important insights, including the observation that the new American trade policy represents not merely a technical adjustment, but the emergence of an entirely new world order.

In his sweeping overview of global politics, Mr. Billström also expressed support for deeper European political cooperation—envisioning an EU structured around concentric circles: an inner core of eurozone countries, other EU members, associated states, and finally, the broader European Political Community.
