With recent reductions in international aid contributions, eradicating poverty is becoming increasingly challenging. On October 5, Misum Forum 2022 is hosting prominent Swedish industry leaders and internationally renowned academics to discuss the role business and industry can, and possibly should, play in reducing poverty globally.

On July 4, Misum affiliated researcher Margo Enthoven joined Mistra and Mistra REES at Almedalen 2022 to co-host a panel discussion on challenges and opportunities for circular public procurement.

Misum researchers Ting Dong and Milda Tylaite examine the Swedish audit regime shift in 2010 which removed mandatory audit requirements for small private companies. Their study highlights the resulting shift in bargaining power between auditors and their clients along with implications for private firms’ tax reporting.
