Research
Research at the House of Sustainable Society is organized across four platforms. Together, they provide a multidisciplinary foundation for understanding and advancing sustainable development in collaboration with academia, industry, policymakers, and civil society.
Policy briefs
HoSS Academic Insights distill the latest sustainability research into concise, accessible policy briefs.
Based on peer-reviewed research by House of Sustainable Society affiliates, they highlight key findings and their implications for policy, business, and society to help decision-makers and practitioners navigate complex sustainability challenges.
Working papers
We publish working papers through the House of Sustainable Society (HoSS) Working Paper Series on Scandinavian Working Papers in Economics (S-WoPEc). They make ongoing, non-peer-reviewed research accessible to scholars, policymakers and the wider public.
The series reflects the breadth of research within HoSS, spanning topics at the intersection of economics, finance, accounting, innovation, and sustainability.
Researcher Spotlights
In the Researcher Spotlight series, we shine a light on researchers affiliated with the House of Sustainable Society. The Spotlights present their career paths, ongoing sustainability research, and contributions to advancing sustainable development.
