SOA Open Friday Focusing on Leadership and Talent Development

In November, the Center for Sports & Business hosted SOA Open Friday, an open forum dedicated to leadership and talent development, bringing together researchers and practitioners to strengthen the link between research and practice in sport.
The event featured expert contributions from Manuel Baeriswyl (PhD student, Communication Sciences), Emma Stenström (Associate Professor, SSE), Constanze Eib (Associate Professor, SSE), Anton Kalén (Post-Doc, Sports Analytics), Martin Carlsson-Wall (Professor, SSE), and Henrik Gustafsson (Sport Psychology Consultant and Professor, Sport Science).
SOA - the Swedish Olympic Academy - is a collaboration between the Swedish Olympic Committee, Karolinska Institutet, KTH Royal Institute of Technology, and the Stockholm School of Economics.
The next SOA Open Friday will take place in the spring of 2026 at Karolinska Institutet, with more information to follow.
