Second Edition of CSB Omvärld
The world is moving fast, and sport is shaped by the same forces as the rest of society: politics, economics, technology, and shifting values. In the second edition of CSB Omvärld, we brought together experts to explore exactly how these forces are transforming sport.
Audience behaviors are changing. Business models are evolving. Commercial conditions are shifting. At the same time, sport rests on strong non-profit traditions and a societal mission that extends far beyond results and financial performance.
During the morning, insights were shared by, among others:
- Marie-Anne Lindhardt - on how the legal framework of sport is changing and why the "specificity of sport" can no longer be taken for granted
- Klara Palmberg Broryd - on complexity and the importance of distinguishing between the simple, the complicated, the complex, and the chaotic in decision-making
- Gunnar Håkansson (Swedish Golf Federation) - with practical perspectives from everyday life in Swedish sport
- Martin Carlsson-Wall - offering a research-based view on what sport must prioritize going forward
- Moderator: Anna Laurell Nash
One clear insight emerged: sport already possesses its greatest asset - its people. When internal competence is leveraged, networks are strengthened, and tradition is combined with development, true future momentum is created. Sport needs renewal, but not everything needs to be rebuilt. History is an asset - it carries identity, credibility, and a large part of the future.
Thank you to all experts and participants for a forward-looking and engaging conversation.
