Career Module with Synsam

Second-year Retail Management students in Synsam Retail Club were invited to reflect on their future career paths and explore what direction might suit them best.

During the visit, the students heard from three employees who shared their professional journeys and key lessons from their careers.

Josephine Gränse, Retail Management alumna of ’25 and now Business and Development Manager for Synsam Hearing, offered the perspective of a recent graduate. She encouraged students at this stage to begin thinking about steps to take before entering their final year of the RM program, emphasizing the value of extracurricular involvement and reminding them that all experience is “meritable".

Alide Gyllner, Managing Director of Synsam Hearing and RM alumna of ’16, shared a more experienced viewpoint, encouraging students to stay curious and open-minded at the start of their careers.

Susanne Westford, Chief Marketing and People & HR Officer, highlighted the importance of finding a company culture that aligns with one's personality, and stressed that passion and determination matter greatly over time.
