How will Synsam expand in 2030?
Building on the previous Study Visit, learning about the importance and function of Synsam's physical stores, this workshop brought in another aspect of Synsam's brand: their online presence. Students were challenged to envision Synsam in the year 2030, and to consider how customer behavior and technology will change the effectiveness of Synsam's current strategy of expanding their physical retail presence.
Some key themes discussed were the possibilities of agentic AI and autonomous stores, redefining the customer experience, and how even small changes to current operations could make big differences in customer touchpoints. Students were pushed to elaborate more critically about putting their solutions into reality, and the implications that would come alongside them.
