Erik Wetter to United Nations Technical Advisory Group

Erik Wetter, Assistant Professor at SSE House of Innovation and Misum has been invited to join the Technical Advisory Group of the Global Partnership for Sustainable Development Data ("the Global Partnership"), an initiative based at the United Nations Foundation headquarters in Washington D.C.

The Global Partnership convenes over 300 partners including governments, companies, civil society, international organizations, academic institutions, foundations, and statistics agencies to help public and private stakeholders fully harness the data revolution for sustainable development. They run a number of regional and global initiatives such as the African Regional Data Cube (ARDC).

It´s governing board includes Amina J. Mohammed, Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations, H.E. Mahamudu Bawumia, Vice President of Ghana, H.E. Carlos Holmes Trujillo, Colombian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mahmoud Mohieldin, Senior Vice President at the World Bank Group, and Alicia Bárcena Ibarra, Executive Secretary of the Economic Commission of Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC).
