Geopolitics and the future of supply chains: how organizations can build resilient supply chains in an era of geopolitical uncertainty - 23 June 2026

In an era defined by geopolitical tension, fragmentation, and uncertainty, global supply chains are being fundamentally reshaped. This high-level panel brings together leading academic researchers and senior industry representatives to explore how to navigate risk, build resilience, and make strategic decisions in an increasingly volatile world. Please register below to secure your seat.

As global supply chains face mounting pressure from geopolitical tensions, trade fragmentation, and shifting economic alliances, organizations must rethink how they source, produce, and deliver value across borders.

Join House of Innovation at the Stockholm School of Economics for an engaging panel discussion featuring leading scholars and senior industry leaders from Europe, Asia, and the United States. Together, they will examine how geopolitical developments are reshaping supply chains, what risks and opportunities lie ahead, and how organizations can build resilience in an increasingly uncertain environment.

The discussion will bring together perspectives from academia and practice, offering insights into topics such as supply chain strategy, procurement, risk management, sustainability, and global competitiveness.

The event also offers a unique opportunity to take part in the intellectual exchange surrounding the POMS International Conference. While most conference sessions are open only to registered participants, external guests are invited to join this special panel discussion and gain access to insights from some of the leading researchers and practitioners in the field.

Whether you work with operations, sourcing, strategy, innovation, or public policy, this event offers a valuable opportunity to gain fresh perspectives and connect with fellow professionals interested in the future of global business.

This event will be followed by the welcome reception of the 2026 POMS International Conference from 18:00.
