On November 4th, we welcomed Assistant Professor Roxana Turturea in presenting an industry seminar about how governments exert influence over companies under their jurisdiction, including internal forms of influence.
Her presentation keynote aimed to provide insights from state influence research together and practical examples, on why and how companies interact with governments. Particular emphasis was on how state influence can affect the innovation and internationalization strategies companies pursue.
Roxana is an Assistant Professor at the House of Innovation at the Stockholm School of Economics. She obtained her PhD from Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University. Her primary research interests are Entrepreneurial Finance and Corporate Governance.
