Integrating X: how to leverage innovation accelerators in mature organizations - 29 Oct 2019

Many organizations have started units with the task of accelerating innovation activities, often referred to as “X” Labs. However, integrating radically new ideas and solutions into an existing organization is challenging. How can we get better leverage from our X Labs? What are the approaches, mechanisms and processes that turn X Lab solutions into organizational renewal?

The theme of the roundtable was Integrating X: how to leverage innovation accelerators in mature organizations, featuring opening remarks from Professor Magnus Mähring (Chair) and Mattias Axelson (Research Fellow), both from House of Innovation, and presentations from Antti Vuolli, Head of New Businesses at Stora Enso, Linda Schön-Doroci, Acting Director for Direkt Arbetsförmedlingen, Adrian McDonald, Partner at Result and Adam Österman, Acting Head of SEB Innovation Lab. The presentations were followed by roundtable discussions facilitated by researchers from House of Innovation.
