Management Research Seminar: Yaryna Boychuk from Lviv

For this seminar, we welcome our guest Yaryna Boychuk, the CEO of the Business School of Ukrainian Catholic University (LvBS) from Lviv, Ukraine who will talk about their current research and teaching activities.

UCU Business School currently works on research on resilience and ethics in times of crises in Ukraine. In 2016, they also founded the Center for Leadership in cooperation with Ivey Center for Leadership (Ivey Business School, Canada) where they provide research, case writing and program development in leadership in the fields of business, public sector, army, and governance.

Yaryna is visiting us through CIVICA collaboration. The purpose of her one-week visit at SSE is to seek cooperation opportunities in teaching and research.

She has a Master in Management in Foreign Economic Activity of Companies at Lviv National Polytechnic University. Studied economics at the University of Coventry (UK). Experience in project management in ‘Nordpraktik’ program (Stockholm, Sweden). After that – initiated several successful projects in Ukraine, including franchising projects. 15 years of practical experience in business, including management and development of family business, launching and management of start-ups. Representation of foreign companies interests in Ukraine.
