CMIR Breakfast Seminar|Sports as a Platform for Integration

Join us for an inspiring breakfast seminar featuring two leading voices in sport and social development.

Please note that this event will be held in Swedish.

The Center for Migration and Integration Research (CMIR) and the Center for Sports and Business (CSB) at the Stockholm School of Economics are pleased to invite you to a breakfast seminar on the role of sport as a platform for integration. Welcome to a conversation featuring Anna Laurell Nash and Rachel Wilson, two leading voices in sport and social development.

Anna Laurell Nash is a former Olympic boxer, two-time world champion, and holds a PhD in chemistry. Alongside her athletic career, she has been actively engaged in the Swedish sports movement, working on issues related to athletes' rights and development.

Rachel Wilson works with development initiatives across sport and civil society, with a focus on inclusion and leadership. She has led collaborations between the public sector and non-profit organizations, trained young leaders, and driven norm-conscious development work.

The conversation will be moderated by Professor Örjan Sjöberg (CMIR).

Breakfast will be served from 08:45 and the seminar will begin at 09:00.

This event is open to anyone interested in the intersection of sport, integration, and social development. It is an opportunity to gain insights from both research and practice on how sport can create inclusive environments and meaningful societal impact.
