SSE Alumni Webinar: Digitalization of expertise
![]()
Until now, professional service firms have traditionally been depicted as highly reliant on their employees’ expertise and their knowledge-base. As more and more of expert tasks that were previously reserved for human experts can be automated or performed by robots or artificial intelligence, these firms need to rethink not only their strategies, but also how they organize their work, what kind of expertise and employees they need, and how to adopt new digital technologies in their service work.
We are pleased to invite you to a webinar with Frida Pemer, Associate Professor at the Department of Management and Organization and House of Innovation at SSE, where she will share results and insights from her recent research about the digitalization of expertise. After that, she will be joined by Mattias Johansson, Alum and Audit Partner at KPMG Sweden, to explore how professional services respond to the threat of digital disruption and what skills and competencies are deemed valuable in them. The webinar is moderated by Sebastian Krakowski, Postdoc Fellow at House of Innovation.
