Phillip Kim, Professor at Babson College, presented his latest paper “Picking the Right Winners - Evaluating Entrepreneurial Support Programs”

The objective of the workshop was to discuss various metrics for invention novelty, reflecting on their pros and cons with the view that while a harmonization of metrics would be helpful for the cumulativeness of research, there is no perfect metric and an inventory would be helpful for comparison across different studies.

Mats Alvesson, professor at Lund University, presented his latest work about “Pre-understandings – an idea enabler in research”

Pedro de Faria, professor at University of Groningen, presented his research at House of Innovation.

Boyan Jovanovic is a professor in economics at New York University and recipient of Global Award for Entrepreneurship Research 2019. During his visit to Sweden, he received the award and held a talk at House of Innovation about his overall research.
