Will SSE get an institutional subscription to ChatGPT?
As of now SSE does not have an agreement with OpenAI for the use of ChatGPT. Meaning that licenses must be purchased directly from OpenAI through faculty or department level.
These purchase restrictions also apply to other products, such as Scite, Iris, and Elicit. Any faculty member making an individual purchase must ensure that the product complies with GDPR regulations.

Microsoft Copilot Chat
SSE provides all staff and students with the Microsoft Copilot Chat. Copilot Chat can be used similarly to ChatGPT to search for information, analyze data, create images, improve texts, spell checking, as a sounding board etc.
