Research resources and collaborations
The European Institute of Japanese Studies (EIJS) has the capability to retrieve and analyze information from databases worldwide, including sources in Chinese, Japanese, and Korean, as well as major European languages.
EIJS collaborates with academic, industry, and public sector organizations in Asia, Europe, and North America on joint research projects and regular information exchange.
Another important aspect of the Institute’s information strategy is the expansion of its reference library. EIJS continues to develop initiatives to improve the sharing of resources among local institutions and to strengthen collaboration with other centers for East Asian studies in Europe, including the exchange of visiting experts.
In collaboration with Routledge in London, EIJS publishes the “EIJS Series on the Economics and Business of East Asia.” The Institute also produces a growing series of research reports and working papers.
