Vinnova Green Finance

Through three different projects, we will use Sweden as a “Market Lab” for testing, demonstrating and offering concrete solutions that will support greener financial decisions.

Green finance is a fulfilment of Goal 17 where finance sector incentives align with the global development agenda through investment opportunities in environmental solutions. But several challenges are posing barriers. The Vinnova program at Misum will address some of these critical barriers by creating an innovative solutions oriented research environment where academia and the finance sector meet. Through three different projects, we will use Sweden as a “Market Lab” for testing, demonstrating and offering concrete solutions that will support greener financial decisions. It is our hope that our outputs will be self-sustained in the longer term and also serve as good examples to be picked up and implemented in other markets as well.
