Misum is a social science research center focused on sustainability with competences in economics, finance, sustainable development, business leadership and innovation. We work with diverse stakeholders to develop rigorous knowledge around how markets may best be advanced to support the transition towards sustainable development.
Our approach: We use different scientific methods, and work both qualitatively and quantitatively. Work is often executed in collaboration with university researchers, international faculty, and with national and international practitioners in business, policy and civil society organizations. Misum projects are clustered around three research platforms: 1. Accounting Frameworks 2. Human Capital and Sustainable Development 3. Sustainable Business through Entrepreneurship and Innovation and one cross-cutting initiative on Sustainable Finance.
