About Merquery

MerQuery provides a simple and direct search of SSE's Library resources

Before Using MerQuery

Please read the information below regarding access to the new library catalogue MerQuery and individual accounts:

SSE students, faculty and staff – To access MerQuery you need to sign in at the MerQuery sign in-page, using your SSE Portal account. If you are already signed in to your SSE Portal account, you will be signed in to MerQuery automatically. 

Other users previously registered - To access MerQuery you need to create a password. You do this this by going to the MerQuery sign in-page and clicking “Sign In”. Choose “Non SSE User”, followed by clicking “Forgot Password”. Enter your personnummer (Swedish identity number) and/or an e-mail address. You will now receive an e-mail where you can choose a password. 

New non SSE-users – Contact the SSE Library Circulation Desk on site to register an account.

Patrons who wish to use the self service-machine must contact the circulation desk to choose an individual PIN-code. This applies to all users, since previous PIN-codes have not been migrated to the new library system.

About MerQuery

MerQuery is the SSE Library's search tool. In MerQuery you can find all printed material and most of the databases. If you need to search for a specific database, you'll find it in the list with databases.

MerQuery contains

  • All printed books
  • All e-books
  • All journals - both printed and electronic
  • Articles from the e-journals the library subscribes to
  • Databases - both bibliographic and full text
  • SSE Publications - Bachelor Thesis, Master Thesis, Licentiate Dissertations, Doctoral Dissertations

MerQuery does not contain

  • Wharton Research Data Services
  • The Swedish House of Finance Research Data Center
  • Eikon
