A Roundtable on the Future of Public Leadership in Sweden
Investing in future leaders is crucial for Sweden's societal resilience. The planned MPP program aims to strengthen public administration by equipping future leaders with the right competences and skills - not only for Swedish institutions, but also for international bodies of strategic importance such as the EU, NATO, and the UN.
After welcoming remarks by Tor Bonnier, CEO of the Karl-Adam Bonnier Foundation, SSE President Lars Strannegård presented the background and vision for the new program. Erik Thedéen, Governor of the Riksbank, followed with personal reflections on the importance of elevating the status of public administration and enabling mobility between the public and private sectors.
Moderated by Professor Martin Carlsson-Wall, thirty invited guests - top leaders from across Swedish society - engaged in a constructive discussion. The result was both strong support and concrete advice on how to design a successful MPP program.
