Fredrik Logevall appointed visiting professor at SSE
Professor Fredrik Logevall, a native of Sweden, moved to North America as a teenager. He is currently Laurence D. Belfer Professor of International Affairs at the John F. Kennedy School of Government and Professor of History at Harvard University. A distinguished historian of international relations and Pulitzer Prize-winning author, he will initially spend two months at SSE in June-July 2026, followed by longer visits in 2027 and 2028.
During his time at SSE, Professor Logevall will contribute to the Center's research environment and engage with faculty and students on topics related to diplomacy, statecraft, and contemporary international affairs. He also plans to continue work on his three-volume biography of John F. Kennedy.
The visiting professorship is generously funded by the Axel and Margaret Ax:son Johnson Foundation for Public Benefit, whose support enables SSE and the Center to host leading international scholars.
