Contributing to education

Our faculty proudly deliver the Master program in Accounting, Valuation & Financial Management, shaping the future professionals in management consulting, investment banking, business control, auditing and financial analysis. As PhD supervisors, our faculty mentor the future researchers and academic talent throughout the PhD program in Accounting and Financial Management, part of SSE's PhD Program in Business Administration. Many of our faculty are highly involved in a variety of SSE Executive Education programs providing professionals with new knowledge, perspectives and business tools to successfully lead their organizations into the future.

PhD in Accounting and Financial Managment

The PhD program in Accounting and Financial Management is part of SSE's PhD Program in Business Administration. Once admitted to this program a PhD student at the Department of Accounting and Financial Management will also be part of the Research School in Accounting (FIRE) which especially focus on preparing the students for an international career within the field of Accounting and Financial Management.

The Research School in Accounting - FIRE

The research school in accounting, FIRE (Forskarskolan i redovisning) was founded 2015 in order to stimulate the development of accounting as an academic field. FIRE is funded by Jan Wallander & Tom Hedelius’ Foundations and Torsten Söderberg’s Foundation.
