Olof shared his insights from EQT about why bankers need to have a grasp of new and emerging technologies. Further, Olof explained why H2GS’s digital first strategy is critical to its mission to produce CO2-free steel.

Olof Hernell is the Chief Digital Officer of H2GS. He joined H2 Green Steel from EQT, where he has spent six years as the CDO, working with the digital business development of EQT’s portfolio companies and heading the organization’s digital team. Prior to joining EQT, he worked for Google for four years as Head of Android and Chrome in the Nordics, as well as Head of Enterprise in Sweden.
