The Career Management offers skills seminars run by Corporate Partners and SSE Alumni to give you the extra edge to be successful. The skills seminars cover different subjects, such as career preparation skills, interview training, design thinking and personal development.
The skills seminars award no academic credits, but are mentioned in the final diploma. Grades given are pass or fail. Due to popularity, they often get booked early so check the course web for dates, times and application deadlines.
Would you like to contribute with your company experience?
We aim to aid students’ employability and development of transferable skills. Career Management values the contributions from Corporate Partners to this program. Taking part means an excellent opportunity to meet with our students and raise your organization’s profile on campus, while genuinely helping with students' employability and skills development.
The seminars and sessions are asked to be interactive and non-promotional, focused on developing specific rather than broad skills and with clear learning outcomes for students. Past experiences and evaluations have shown that the skills seminars and sessions are highly appreciated by the students because of the value-added information and practice they bring.
