Holmer Kok at House of Innovation receives Award for best phd dissertation

Holmer Kok received the 2018 SOM-Award for best PhD research.

Holmer Kok, Assistant Professor at SSE House of Innovation, received the 2018 SOM Award for best PhD Research, from the Faculty of Economics and Business at the University of Groningen. 

"I am very happy and honored to have received this fantastic award," says Holmer Kok. "I must also thank my PhD supervisors, Dries Faems at the WHU Otto Beisheim School of Management and Pedro de Faria, at University of Groningen, for their excellent support and supervision."

Holmer Kok works as Assistant Professor at the House of Innovation at the Stockholm School of Economics, focusing principally on the field of innovation management. His research examines factors underlying the creation of valuable new technologies. Next to this, he studies the performance implications of various extramural knowledge sourcing strategies, such as strategic alliances and mergers and acquisitions.
