BEROC is a leading economic academic think-tank in Belarus that conducts academic and applied research, arranges educational programs on modern economics and other outreach activities.

BEROC started its work as joint project of SITE and the Economics Education and Research Consortium (EERC) in 2008 with financial support from the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA). Today BEROC is an established leading economic academic think-tank on Belarus, currently located in Vilnius, Lithuania. BEROC engages prominent representatives of scientific economic diaspora from the world's leading universities and research centers to take part in Center's research and outreach projects.

BICEPS is an independent research centre located in Riga, Latvia undertaking and promoting high quality policy-oriented research in economics and other social sciences and to provide informed advice and consulting services for both government and business in the Baltic states and elsewhere.

BICEPS, which is now located at the Stockholm School of Economics in Riga, started operations in 2001 with the help of a grant from the Swedish Foreign Ministry and with assistance from SITE. BICEPS became an independent legal entity in May 2002. BICEPS now has a broad and expanding portfolio of projects and a young and dedicated staff that includes some of the first returning PhDs from doctoral programmes abroad. Together with SSE Riga BICEPS publishes the Baltic Journal of Economics (BJE) which reports on the latest research in the Baltic states and offers commentary on economic developments.

CenEA is an independent non-profit academic research institute aiming to provide rigorous highest level analysis of effects of economic and social policy with a focus on Poland.

CenEA strives to promote effective evidence-based policy by improving the understanding of consequences of economic and social policies on individuals, firms and the economy as a whole. CenEA was initially established as the Warsaw Institute for Socio-Economic Research, WISER, and is the Polish node of the SITE Network.

ISET Policy Institute was founded in 2011 by the Partnership for Economics Education and Research (PEER) with the financial support of the Think Tank Fund (TTF) of the Open Society Institute, but has over the years also received substantial funding by the Swedish Government through Sida. The PI was created as a complement to ISETs educational program at the Tbilisi State University. It functions as a university-based think tank providing independent policy research, training, and analysis in the South Caucasus region.

Since January 2013, KEI has operated as the research branch of the Kyiv School of Economics (KSE). The Institute has built strong expertise in economic research, governance and policy advice, providing Ukraine with an important platform for strategic research and evidence-based policymaking. Since Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, KSE and the KSE Institute have assumed an increasingly important role in supporting Ukraine’s economic resilience and policy response. The Institute provides research-based analytical support to the Ukrainian government and international partners on sanctions against Russia, macroeconomic developments, war-related damages, food security and Ukraine’s recovery and reconstruction. KSE experts have also contributed to the international Yermak-McFaul Expert Group on Russian Sanctions and to the development of policy recommendations aimed at strengthening economic pressure on Russia. Through this combination of independent research, government advisory work and international engagement, KSE has emerged as an important centre of economic expertise during the war, helping inform both Ukraine’s immediate economic response and its longer-term recovery and reconstruction.
