Michael Barrett Honored as AIS Fellow

The House of Innovation proudly celebrates the achievement of Professor Michael Barrett, our esteemed Distinguished Visiting Professor, who has been named an AIS Fellow by the Association of Information Systems. This prestigious award is a recognition of Professor Barrett's substantial contributions to the field of information systems.

Michael Barrett, Professor of Information Systems & Innovation Studies at Cambridge Judge Business School, has been elected as a Fellow of the Association of Information Systems (AIS). The award recognizes Michael’s “outstanding contributions to the information systems discipline in terms of research, teaching and service”.

The AIS Fellow Award, established in 1999 by the AIS Council and the ICIS (International Council on Information Systems) Executive Committee, is reserved for individuals who have made significant contributions both globally and locally in the information systems discipline. Professor Barrett's election as an AIS Fellow not only highlights his individual excellence but also underscores the House of Innovation's commitment to fostering world-class research and teaching in the realm of information systems and innovation.
