Prins Marcus Valiant Lantz
Visiting Postdoctoral Fellow, Roskilde University
Prins Marcus Valiant Lantz is a postdoctoral researcher at The Department of Communication and Arts at Roskilde University. He obtained his MA in Rhetoric from the University of Copenhagen and an Industrial PhD in Organizational Decision-Making from Copenhagen Business School. Broadly, his research examines the rhetoric of decision-making: how actors shape how, when, and why to act under uncertainty. He is currently engaged in the 10-year research project, “Algorithms, Data & Democracy,” focusing on issues of datafied health, e.g., the public debate on, implementation, and use of AI in hospital settings, in which concepts such as time and emotion can shed light on the persuasive use (and misuse) of science and technology.
