Matin Mohaghegh

Postdoctoral Fellow - Department of Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Technology

Matin is a postdoctoral research fellow at the House of Innovation, Stockholm School of Economics. He previously spent two years as a post-doc researcher at the Chair of Operations Management, University of Stuttgart in Germany. Prior to that, he obtained his PhD in "Management" at the Department of Economics and Management, University of Padova with a particular focus on problem-solving at both operational and strategic domains. Matin holds a MSc in “Management Engineering” from Politecnico di Milano.
His research currently focuses on process improvement initiatives (e.g., lean management, agile manufacturing, and systematic problem-solving) and, in particular, how such opportunities embrace sustainability and contribute to sustainable business performance (including economic, environmental, and social benefits).

His research has appeared in journals such as Journal of Cleaner Production, Management Decision, Management Research Review, and Systemic Practice and Action Research. He actively participates and presents his research at international conferences such as Academy of Management (AoM), European Operations Management Association (EurOMA), Production and Operations Management Society (POMS), System Dynamics Society, and European Academy of Management (EURAM).
