Mateja Andric

Postdoctoral Fellow - Department of Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Technology

Mateja Andric is a Post Doctoral Researcher at the Center for Family Enterprise at the House of Innovation, Stockholm School of Economics. She completed her Ph.D. in Management at the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland. Her research focuses on the interface between entrepreneurs’ private life and business, including the dynamic interplay between family and entrepreneurship as well as the changing role of family in society and its implications for entrepreneurs and family businesses. In her doctoral dissertation, she examined how firms are affected by entrepreneurs’ and CEOs’ life events, thus generating insights into how firms are embedded in the life courses and family events of entrepreneurs and executives. In her research she mainly works with register and survey data and uses predominantly quantitative research methods. Her research has been published in the Journal of Business Venturing and the Frontiers of Entrepreneurship Research.

Mateja also works as an International Postdoctoral Fellow and lecturer at the University of St. Gallen. Previously she worked as a research associate and teaching assistant at the Swiss Institute of Small Business and Entrepreneurship at the University of St. Gallen as well as in M&A advisory and financial consulting.
