Governance in public, private and civil society/NGO organizations alike is characterized by demands for transparency, accountability and efficiency. Governance has also become more complex with needs to manage multiple stakeholders across sectors and industries. This creates new demands on research, education and policymaking.
SSE House of Governance and Public Policy is a multidisciplinary institution that gathers leading researchers and educators across all departments at SSE, as well as visiting scholars with a range of disciplinary backgrounds and expertise. We conduct cutting edge research and education of societal relevance, to assist in professional development and capacity building in organizational and societal governance and in the development of scientifically based public policy. Bridging the gap between public and private.
